Pretty In Pink

Boy am I bad at keeping up with this blog. I somehow manage to put photos up onto tumblr way more often than I do on here...oopsies! Any who...every time I see anything in pastel pink I instantly fall in love, and if it is paired up with a soft white than it has officially taken my heart away! Every time I see images such as these it instantly puts me into a dreamy, airy mood and makes me want to create the most beautiful of things. These old-fashioned fridges are absolutely breathtaking. I love everything about them and want one sooo badly when I get my own place someday! Interior design is such a passion of mine, not in the whole learning how to make blueprints or do engineering, but to redecorate a home and turn it into a place of dreams and serenity! To bring that kind of ease to someones home is he most rewarding feeling in the world. Seeing beautiful homes such as these bring tears to my eyes because they are so beautiful, they are one's own fairytale come to life! You can never go wrong with a white room with a subtle accent of color.

Lover Boy

I am just in the Dirty Dancing kind of mood. This scene is my favorite part of the entire movie...something about it just makes me smile. What a quick and great week it has been. My fashion class at Palomar is going fantastic and my project in cermaics back at high school is turning out just as I envisioned it to. Hooray for things going as planned! To continue on with the good news, I have officially been accepted to CSU Monterey Bay...looks like I am going to be a Monterey Bay Otter :) haha. What an amazing campus it is, I love how it is surrounded by abandoned army buildings and the dorm rooms back in the day used to be the generals office. How much cooler can it get?! Have a fantastic Friday tomorrow and enjoy the weekend ahead.

One Day I'll Fly Away

So I did it. I finally asked the guy I like to go to the Sadie Hawkins dance with me. You want to know what he said…”No one is really going and I don’t have anything to wear to it. I need to have swag.” Are you fricken kidding me…SWAG!!! That is ridiculous, I understand that you wouldn’t want to go because no one is really going but really you wont go because you need to make sure you have swag. I am over it. High school sucks and I should have known that there was going to be no chance in hell that I would get a boyfriend during these dreaded four years. I’m just not cut out to have a boyfriend. Since I am having the suckiest day ever, I am going to go to the grocery store, buy myself the biggest chocolate peanut butter ice cream Ever and eat the whole thing while watching ridiculous movies!! Screw high school boys! The worst part about this whole situation is the fact that I don’t want to be mad at him and that I still hope that one day it might work out :P

The Game Has Changed

It is official, I have found a new blog and have become completely and utterly obsessed! This style genius is Bebe Zeva. She has created a blog, Fated to be Hated, that is dedicated to her idea of style. I love her carefree attitude towards life. She loves fashion and designers but at the same time loves to defy fashion by constantly making a statement. When it comes to fashion she is fearless. She loves it when her outfit makes people stop and stare, whether for better or for worse. She is my idol and my inspiration and I hope to one day be as fearless in fashion as she is!
